Heavy radial and thrust loads, dirt, sand, moisture, extreme temperature .... these are the demanding conditions that led to the first designs and construction of the Osborn Heavy-Duty Load Runners Idler-Rollers. Today they are continuing to set the standard for top performance -- not only in tough environment, but wherever precision and reliability are needed. Our newest addition is the non-sparking Cam Followers.

Osborn offers two basic styles plus a variety of tread configurations and sizes to meet your materials handling needs.
Idler-rollers with studs take on a wide range of heavy-duty tasks, while the yoke styles feature even more load carrying capability in thru-shaft applications.
Plain rollers effectively carry radial loads. If guiding is needed, additional plain rollers can act as the guides, or you can substitute flanged rollers. Sometimes a combination of plain and flanged configurations is best when loads must be transferred from one section of an operation to another.
V-grooved rollers are ideal for lighter loads or when riding rails are not pratical because of detrimental contaminants.
U-grooved idler-rollers are most often used for wire guides and idler pulleys. The eccentric versions are suited for special "adjustable" requirements.
Osborn also offers an assortment of shafts and shaft retainers for the yoke style idler-rollers, as well as the ability to design and build custom configurations for applications where the "standards" won't fit.
